Turing
Turing House is named after English mathematician, Alan Turing OBE FRS. Turing is best known for his work during the Second World War, where he worked for the Government Code and Cypher School at Bletchley Park, devising techniques for speeding up the breaking of German ciphers. His story has recently been dramatized in the film, The Imitation Game. Turing house is based in the maths and humanities departments.
