In February 2019, The Ferrers School joined the Meridian Trust.

We truly value the success of every child and place the sharing of excellent education practice at our core. We are committed to improving the quality of education and life in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, and their immediate surroundings.

We are dedicated to maintaining our core principles and focus as we grow – sharing the success of the values that were initially developed at Swavesey Village College.

Each academy within the Trust retains their own local governing bodies, identity and individuality. The young adults who leave our care are prepared for the next stage of their education and are ready and confident to move forward as responsible, employable citizens.

Being part of the Trust provides students with access to a wide variety of opportunities to learn and develop their careers and experiences. The Ferrers School will adopt the same processes and practices that have made others in the Trust among the best schools in the country.
