The Government reviewed the food standards for schools and in January 2015, the new standards were introduced. The following link provides a good summary of how these new standards affect the food we serve to your children:
ABOUT CATERLINK
We are proud of our food heritage which demonstrates our commitment to traceability of the meals we serve. Our meat main meals are freshly prepared on site and made with Red Tractor/Farm Assured fresh meat whilst our suppliers are audited by an external body to ensure they comply with our high standards and statutory obligations.
We have a huge respect for the produce we work with and are committed to driving forward new and innovative environmental schemes that will help protect those resources.
We are currently the only company in our sector to have invested in a dedicated specialist responsible for developing environmental management schemes – for our business and those of our clients.
At The Ferrers School we have a dedicated Caterlink team led by Clare Hadley, Catering Manager. Clare and her team provide fresh food through the provision of breakfast club, morning break and lunch service.

Our menus are nutritionally balanced, full of local flavours and tailored to suit your school. They not only meet, but exceed government guidelines. Whether it’s lunch for students, or open evenings, we have lots of fresh ideas. Whatever your requirements we are able to offer a service that suits you.Caterlink provide our onsite catering.
