Independent Learning and Homework
Online learning platforms 2025-2026
Independent learning is a key element of our curriculum plans at The Ferrers School.
All independent learning is set on TEAMs as an assignment and as a parent you will receive a weekly overview of the assignments that your child has been set by their teachers. If you have access to Edulink, you can check your child homework by clicking on the ‘Homework’ icon.
We are aware that the sheer number of online platforms can be difficult to navigate at home. Below you will find a list of the platforms we use in subjects as well as information about students access the platforms. As parents/carers you might receive weekly updates directly from the e-platform about student engagement.
If you have any questions about a specific platform, please contact your child’s form tutor or the curriculum leader for the subject with your query.
Not all independent learning is set via these platforms. Students will also be asked to complete tasks in books, folders and paper in a more traditional way.
