The Ferrers School Aspire, Achieve, Acclaim

    National Childnet Film Success!

On Tuesday 3rd July 2018 The Ferrers School was announced as the overall secondary category winner in a national competition from leading online safety charity Childnet, which sees young people using their digital creativity to inspire others to ‘Connect with respect’ and use the internet positively and safely.

The Ferrers School attended a showcase event at the British Film Institute (BFI) in London, where their film, 'Game Over', was shown at a private screening and judged by industry experts (the BBC, BFI, BBFC and BAFTA) to be the overall winner within the secondary category of the ninth annual Childnet Film Competition.

The Ferrers team came home with a whole film-making kit for the school. The film will also be used to promote Safer Internet Day next year.

Huge congratulations go to Orla, Clodagh, Chelsey, Ellie, Tilly, Nicole, Courtney and Carrie-Jayne!
